Exciting News. My Golden Heart winning manuscript “Kitty’s Fire” has a new name– “Firestorm”– and will be released in Steeple Hill’s Love Inspired Suspense line in the second half of 2010. I got a chance to meet my editor, Tina James, at the ACFW conference in Denver in September. Kitty’s Fire was also finalist in ACFW’s Genesis Contest in the Romantic Suspense Category but due to being offered a contract, I had to withdraw the manuscript from the final round–a reason for which I certainly don’t feel bad about.
I’m very excited to be working with Tina James and Steeple Hill.

Anyway Kelly, I so happy for you given that your creative writing efforts are being recognized and paying off. Way to go !
So Kitty’s Fire is a hit ! … Who’s kitty, which kitty ? (You’ve has so many). Guess I’ll have to buy & read the book when it comes out !!!
Nice picture on this blog site. You previously told me that you & Rick had a pond on your property … but you failed to mention that you had such a stately bridge. Very classy!
Take care,
Roger H.
Hi!
Thanks so much, Roger. I dissappeared over the Holidays and sorry to take so long to get back with you. The kitty is Victor (called Max in the book) in memory of Victoria– who you knew. “Kitty’s Fire”–now called “Firestorm” will be out in July 2010.
Sorry to say that’s not our pond. I wish it was!
Thanks to dropping by,
Kelly
Hello Kelly: Just got finished reading your book, Firestorm. Loved it, felt as if I was there with Kitty Cat & Luke all the time. Didn’t want to put it down. Great Christian story, had a very surprising ending, never suspected the true culprits.
Excellent book…..Congradulations.
Thank you so much, Mary, for letting me know you loved Firestorm. I’m glad you enjoyed reading it. It was a fun book to write.
